17 Jul Responsible posting AND responsible consuming
Most days, scrolling through social media is a relatively benign activity. We get to see the things our family and friends are up to, and maybe a dose of fashion, some baby animals or food porn. But some days, the impulse to throw in the towel and delete all our social media apps is fierce. This is why: Your wall is your wall. You can express yourself any way you want. But words matter, whether you’re typing them on your phone or speaking them out loud. In the last few days alone, we’ve seen people posting that going vegan is a cure for depression and that an alkaline diet should be used in place of chemotherapy to treat cancer. Not only are posts like these nonsensical, but they can actually cause harm to people who take them seriously. Yes, we believe in freedom of expression, but we also believe that you should think twice about what you share with the world.
Practice responsible posting AND responsible consuming.
Let us know what you think.
